DR. LUIS D. CRESPO

Dr. Crespo is the Medical Director and founder of the Plastic Surgery Clinic, where he has practiced for 25 years.  He is one of the founders of the Plastic Surgery Center, a state of the art and accredited facility for the Practice of Plastic Surgery.

He is Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Panama Board Certified in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery.  American Board Certified in General and Board eligible in Plastic Surgery. 

Served as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Surgery at Panama Medical School and on the Faculty of the Plastic Surgery department at Social Security Hospital in Panama for many years.

Dr. Crespo is the past president of the Panama Society of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, the largest Association of Plastic Surgeons in Panama.  He is an Active Member of the Panama Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Corresponding Member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons .

Active Member of International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Federación IberoLatinoAmericana de Cirugía Plástica.

Dr. Crespo is past Medical Director of Operation Smile Panama.

He has provided free Plastic Surgery for children with Congenital Facial and Hands deformities in Panama and in missions in Europe, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean through Operation Smile since 1985.

He has been actively involved in Stem Cell Therapy for the treatment of Chronic Diseases as well as in Stem Cell Trophic factors research for Aesthetic and Reconstructive therapies.

He and his wife Mercedes have 5 children , Tatiana, Nino, Lucas, Robert and Mirelly .
